No Bake Nutella Truffles
Nutella Truffles are the kind of chocolate treat that feels indulgent without being complicated.
Made with Nutella, chocolate chips, and crunchy hazelnuts, these little bites have a rich, smooth center and a deep chocolate hazelnut flavor.

They’re no-bake, easy to put together, and perfect when you want something homemade that still feels special, whether you call them truffles or Nutella bonbons.
How to Make Nutella Truffles
One of the things I love most about this Nutella truffles recipe is how simple it is.
You only need five ingredients to make these easy Nutella truffles, and there’s no baking involved.
Just a few minutes of prep gives you soft, chocolatey treats that work beautifully for gifting, holidays, or anytime you’re craving Nutella chocolates without turning on the oven.
Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
- ½ cup Nutella
- ¼ cup raw hazelnuts
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Recipe Note
This recipe includes powdered sugar and extra chocolate to help the bonbons firm up and release cleanly from the mold. While Nutella is already sweet, these ingredients improve texture and structure rather than changing the overall flavor. The result is a smooth center with a firm chocolate shell.
Time-Saving Tip
If you’re short on time and want to make this recipe even faster, you can use already roasted hazelnuts and skip the roasting step altogether.
Prep Time
- Prep time: 15-20 minutes
- Cool time: 30 minutes
- Servings: 20-25
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the hazelnuts on a baking tray and roast for about 5 minutes.

Let them cool slightly, then rub them between your hands to remove the skins.
Place the peeled hazelnuts in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the Nutella and butter.
Microwave for about 30 seconds, or until the butter has melted. Stir until smooth.

Add the powdered sugar to the Nutella mixture and mix until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Spoon the melted chocolate into a bonbon mold, making sure each cavity is fully coated.
Turn the mold upside down to let the excess chocolate drip out, then scrape off any extra chocolate.

Place the mold in the fridge for 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is set but not fully hardened.
Sprinkle the roasted hazelnuts into each cavity.

Spoon the Nutella mixture into the mold, leaving a little space at the top.
Cover with the remaining melted chocolate, tapping the mold gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.

Scrape off any excess chocolate.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until fully set.
Once hardened, remove the bonbons from the mold and enjoy.
